A final post for 2018.
I recently resumed scanning my slide collection – digitalization in the parlance of today. One of my recent finds was this image of London Buses on Whitehall in the rain.
The picture was taken in early November 1998. I was on an open-top tour bus in what was perhaps more of a steady drizzle than a light rain. Perhaps only the English have so many words for rain?
I’ve heard it said of London Buses that you can wait for ever for one to come along, and when it does, there’s another one right behind it. That’s certainly the case here with both buses running Route 11.
