Green Shutters is an image I captured while wandering with my wife in the Faubourg Marigny neighborhood of New Orleans in July 2017. The building itself is on Decatur Street near the intersection with Frenchman Street. We had started our meanderings in the French Quarter and the French Market. A window in time, literally. I captured this view through the clock face at the Musée d’Orsay in Paris on the fifth floor, in the North-East corner of the museum. The space behind the clock face in the North-West corner is a restaurant and I don’t find the view through it as pleasing.
