I took this photo South from 30 Rock when I was in New York with my family last summer.
This view is from near the top of Upham hill looking north over Aldbourne Warren in the foreground, and Liddington Warren in the mid-ground to the clump of trees marking Liddington Hill.
I took this shot of tractor tracks in a field of barley looking across a valley in the Marlborough Downs of Wiltshire, England. The tight crop of the frame is from my use of a 400mm lens to capture this image.
My wife and I thought it ironic that we should see a Virgin balloon having flown Virgin Atlantic but we were both thankful that Virgin Atlantic fly Boeing 747s and not balloons such as this!
The Betsy Hotel has a neat rooftop deck for guests. From the loungers you can look out over the top of the palm trees to the ocean. Like the rooms overlooking the courtyard, the city sounds rise up and past you when you’re up on the deck. I took this image at shortly after 8:00 pm.
