So turning my back to the Grand Canyon Skywalk and looking south-east, I had this wonderful view. The Skywalk is built on Eagle Point and the rock formation in the center of this image is why it has that name. If you trace the line of the mesa from left to right, where it dips down in the middle looks like the spreading wings of an eagle, the rock outcrop at the lowest point being the body and head.
