Daily Photo – Balancing Act

‘Balancing Act’ is another photo taken on the streets of Xi’an, China, not far from the beer distributor.

I’m not sure these three guys were fully occupied around the clock selling scales but they seem to be ready to handle the rush. And they seem to have a wide range of scales in stock.

Now I’m wondering if they sold these or maybe just rented them out as various traders needed them. They do not appear to be in factory condition

I would often see the balances hanging from the ceiling being used in the markets for smaller produce. The larger ones are more for your bulk goods.
