I feel like I’m re-learning the ropes of blogging these days, hence the photo below. I took it a while back on board the Elissa, a Tall Ship from 1877, moored in Galveston harbor at the Texas Seaport Museum. The Elissa is a three-masted, iron-hulled barque built in Aberdeen, Scotland in 1877. She was rescued from destruction in a Greek Shipyard in 1975 by the Galveston Historical Foundation and towed to Galveston in 1979.
