This is a wide angle view of the Bowl of Fire. As the crow flies, it’s about 30 miles east of Las Vegas to the north side of Northshore Road in the Lake Mead National Recreational Area. Ever since I had my own transport, I’ve taken off on these solo journeys – by car or motorcycle – to see what I could see.
