‘If walls could talk’ was a phrase I used to hear quite often, referring to the silent witnesses to all that goes on within a space. Well maybe this young lady is a wall whisperer – a lady who can hear what the walls have to say.
Today’s photo, ‘Hold on Tight’ was taken in Tienanmen Square in 1991. I’m not sure what the boy was watching – perhaps all us strange foreigners, perhaps another police squad marching from A to B.
Today’s photo, taken on the ‘Spirit Way’ to the Ming Dynasty Tombs outside Beijing shows a novel way to keep your hat on – a large bolt! Of course, in western culture, the bolt ran through the neck (Frankenstein).
