hellscombe cottage, approrpiately enough, sits at the base of Hellscombe, a few miles north of Aldbourne, wiltshire.
The stand of trees at the top of the photo is known as Peaks Wood.
Clearly I would not have been able to repeat this shot in the summer since the leaves on the trees would obscure the cottage from this direction.
