Daily Photo – The Painters

These two painters were hard at work sprucing up the window frames of a building on West Lakeside Drive at the intersection with W 9th Street in Cleveland.

I was drawn to this image by the strong colors – the red of the brick, the green of the siding on the building and the yellow of the leaves on the tree.

I took this photo in mid-October 2008. Many years ago I might also have been wearing a T-shirt at this time of year but years of living in North Africa and Texas have made me soft and I was wearing a reasonably substantial jacket on the day I took this photo.
