From the light, I took this photo in the morning since this is a view north so the sun is coming in from the east. It is, however, post golden-hour. I probably used my 70-210 mm closer to the 210 end of the range to compress the scene. The rock outcrop near center of the image is about 1.5 miles beyond the jungle-shrouded hills to the left of the image.
