Daily Photo – Temple Shower

I took the photo below during a shower while wandering around the Wat Phra kaew in Bangkok. Like pretty much everyone else, when the rain started bucketing down, I ducked under the roof of one of the pavilions to wait out the rain. As I was looking around, I noticed this man using the run-off from the gutterless roof to wash his arms. I really can’t tell what lens I was using but I must have had the aperture wide open to give the relatively narrow depth of field as illustrated by the relatively small zone of in-focus rain drops. I’d like to say this choice was deliberate but I’d probably be lying.
