Daily Photo – Wat Phra Kaew After the Rain 2

Today’s photo is a wider shot of the scene I posted a couple of days back of storm clouds at the Wat Phra Kaew in Bangkok. The storm clouds are receding, the ground is starting to dry up and more people are out in the open, though many remain in the shelter of the pavilions. Where yesterday’s photo was a view north from near the south-west corner of the temple complex, this is a view north from near the south-east corner of the complex. I was still oblivious to what was going on here but you’ll notice if you look closely, more military uniforms and that most of the people are local Thais, not tourists like myself.
