Daily Photo – Everglades 11

Another day, another Everglades photo. I've three or four days left on this subject before I move on to other images but I think I'll play out this Miami sequence first and then return to more from Malaysia.

Yesterday's photo was a view to the north. Today's swings around to the north-west. The is out of the frame to the left but the patchwork of clouds leads to the grassland under the dark clouds to be bathed in light while the grassland under the blue sky is wrapped in shadow. In yesterday's photo you see the trailing edge of the lashing down from the storm while in today's photo you see the lashing down on the leading edge as the storm moves off to the west. The clump of is the one where the vultures were perched, drying off in the . Color image first tonight, below.
