I took this picture of an Impala as we were driving towards a watering hole to watch the animals arrive at dusk. Like a lot of animals, they stop to check you out before deciding whether to run away or ignore you. Shortly after this photo, it decided to run away.
I captured this sunset a week or two after I crashed the boss's car. I was struck by the cloud formation at the higher altitude. Below it is another layer of thin clouds giving the patches with less clarity.
Whomp! I hit the cow pretty much dead center. It's legs bucked and it's body rolled up the hood and into the windshield. I saw it all in slow motion, not the split second it actually took.
