Across the road from the Hoover Dam Visitor Center one finds the twin Winged Figures of the Republic by sculptor Oskar J.W. Hansen. Each figure is 30 feet tall. So I’ll post a few more Hoover Dam photos this week, then move on. This is a view of the Nevada Powerplant that one can tour if you visit the dam. There are a couple of tours you can take, a 30-minute tour or a one hour tour. I got there relatively late in the day and just took the 30-minute tour.
