Tag Archives: Silver Efex There weren’t any ‘parental controls’ at this street theater performance in Georgetown, Penang. Despite the knife and sword play on the stage no one seemed concerned that there were children in the audience. Despite all the adults around, it’s a young boy that is holding up an even younger boy so he can see while a third boy stands behind them, his gaze firmly on the scene unfolding before him. I wonder if they’d ever seen anything like this before.  I’ll be writing more on my experiences with HDR Efex Pro 2 in future posts but for now, I’m impressed with the intuitive interface and the results. You can find out more by clicking on the ad below.  The London Eye is a cantilevered wheel having support on only one side unlike other observation wheels in other cities. The wheel has 64 spoke cables that work like the spokes of bicycle wheel, holding the rim tight to the spindle in the middle of the wheel.  The London Eye currently has EDF Energy as a sponsor. The EDF stands for Electricité de France, of course; just as 20% of the iconic London Buses are operated by Deutsche Bahn – the German railroad company.

If you post them on a blog then you need to credit me and link to this website. If you wanted to use them commercially – i.e. make money off them or give them to someone else to make money off them, then you need to buy a license to do so. For a screen saver, either click on the image to enlarge it or click on the enlarge button below the photo, then on a PC right click and save the file to your hard drive. Next use the control panel display options to link the image you downloaded to be your background. I don’t know how you do this on a Mac.

Nice picture. In this I can see forms and shapes, like looking into a cloud. Elements like this are inspiring to me, and it is nature afterall. I also like the colour version, but the B/W brings out more definition to me, making easier to create ideas from such as this. This has the advantage of preventing your precious little one from falling over the edge on the way down but has the side effect of slowing down the whole experience. On the upside, your hair looks wicked when you emerge – like you’ve been holding onto a Van der Graaf generator!
