The ritual that, for many, confirms autumn is here and winter is just around the corner. Around this time last year, I was traveling in Maine and I took this photograph of a waterfall in Acadia National Park. Hiking Much… no comments  I recently camped out at Brazos Bend state park, a little under an hour’s drive from my home. I hadn’t been there in a couple of years and I was somewhat surprised at how low the water levels were. I shouldn’t have been surprised – after all, Texas is suffering a major drought this year…. show 4 comments

A south african ranger told me the difference is also the inner colour of their mouth. Crocodiles have a yellow, alligators a more pink colour. So if your head is in…… You’ll see the difference 
Man, I hope I never get that close! Thanks for the great information. I think the closest I got to your location when I was in South Africa in the late 1980s was around the Three Rondavels a little to the south of you. You’re in a truly fantastic part of the world and I hope to get back there one day!

You have to allow yourself to shake things up! And sometimes, just so you remember what it’s like to simply relax and enjoy the sights for their own merits, try to leave the camera at home! (IT IS very hard to do I know!)
By changing up your methods you may find yourself pleasantly surprised! Getting out of a creative rut by doing things differently usually opens up new methods and focuses you never would have tried before!
