From the Zambian side, looking to the west, you can see much further along the falls than you can from the Zimbabwe side since the rising clouds of spray are close to the eastern edge of the gorge.
Category Archives: Zambia From the Vic Falls Visitor Center in Zimbabwe to the eastern end of the falls in Zambia is about a mile-and-a-half along the road – a pretty easy walk. Of course, you need to make sure you have your passport and that your visa’s are in order.  In this image we’re technically over Zambia, looking west to Zimbabwe at the top of the photo. The cloud of spray at the top of the photo was the cloud in which the rainbow in yesterday’s image was formed.
