[...] Road and Baydon Road, a few miles north of Aldbourne. Baydon Road follows (mostly) the path of the Roman Road, Ermine Street. Just west of here the Roman’s put a bend in their road to ease the gradient [...]  I really enjoy looking at this image at 100% because it’s clearly just mushed pixels, almost pointillistic in nature.  A lone geranium plant sits below the headstone of Anna Maby, propped against the eastern wall of Colonial Park Cemetery, Savannah, Georgia. The headstone records that Anna was four months and sixteen days old when she passed in 1821.  Photo of Arch Rock, a natural formation in the Valley of Fire State Park in Nevada.

Nice picture. In this I can see forms and shapes, like looking into a cloud. Elements like this are inspiring to me, and it is nature afterall. I also like the colour version, but the B/W brings out more definition to me, making easier to create ideas from such as this. Like a wooden burr is to marbel – there is so much to see beyond what you see. Nice work Richard. - Marquess Meubelkunst.nl  The traditional definition of a desert is based on a (lack of) rainfall figure – less than 250 mm (10 in.) rainfall per year. An alternative definition is a place that lacks sufficient vegetation to support human population. the English word desert comes from the Latin ‘desertum’ meaning an abandoned place. 
Currently parts of east anglia qualify as a desert, and summer has just finished here too, over 20 and no rain for weeks. The ditch along Lottage road is as dry as any desert gulch no road flooding this year, waiting for the Dabchick so that we can se when some nonegenarian tells us when, if ever, it last happened.  With the sun setting on the horizon and thunder clouds rising into the distant evening sky, Lake Verret is about to slip under the wing of this Southwest Boeing 737. 
woow…. amazing.  I arrived before sun up and for quite a while I was alone, the only sound the chirping of birds and the occasional splash in the water. And then this cyclist appeared on the bridge.  The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum was located in Cleveland ostensibly because DJ Alan Freed coined the term ‘Rock and Roll’ during his radio years with WJW-Radio in the city and because he helped organize the Moondog Coronation Ball on March 21, 1952 in the city, generally held as the first rock and roll concert. |
