The 70-200 f2.8 has to come first  After some false starts I’ve re-commenced scanning my Mother’s old Kodachrome slides – images taken in the 60′s and 70′s with a Kodak 126 Instamatic camera that I previously blogged about here. In between I’ve had numerous hardware and software issues with my PC, most recently a boot sector virus that prompted me to through…  Well. another Super Bowl has come and gone and this year’s champs are the Green Bay Packers. At least Pittsburgh made a game of it and it wasn’t a runaway blowout. Maybe it’s my New Orleans connection, but the end of this year’s game seemed to be missing something when I cast my mind back…

We watched it over here, different sort of brutality to rugby, but the off field commentary and comment puts are football pundits to shame.  It’s HOT in Texas at this time of the year! Having lived in the Houston area for all but two of the last 15 years, you’d think I’d be used to it, but I’m not. Sure it was hotter in Libya, I recall a few days when the thermometer showed 50 Celsius (122 Fahrenheit) but… |
