I titled this shot ‘Strolling into Antenna City’ for somewhat obvious reasons. I still don’t think I’ve seen such a density of TV antennas since.
Category Archives: City and Architecture I took today’s photo early in 1990 in Malta. It’s a view of Valletta from Sliema taken from near the Sliema Ferry.  The Crofton pump house and chimney were built in 1807 and started working in 1809. I think the patches on the wall were where the beams for the 1812 Boulton and Watt pump were passed through the wall.  Being lazy, here’s a vertical interpretation of the view to the north-west from Tower Bridge. 
Do enjoy a bit of history of London. Beautiful city with amazing history. Photo is very nice, a well balanced amount of post. May I ask….HDR? But not to a stupid amount.  Continuing with my series of images of London, here’s a view North West from Tower Bridge. Like the photo of to the west, this was taken from the west walkway and has been processed through Photomatix.

Today’s photo is a detail of part of the northwest facade of the Bank of China Tower in Hong Kong. Best I can tell it’s pretty much the reverse angle from yesterday’s shot. |

The moment I saw the first picture , I said , it’s really Antenna City , which let me wonder, are they still in their local tele transmissions , how come that the dishes not invades them yet . But when I read it , I figure out the real context of it . So this is real history , antenna tells that .
